As far as Guard Dogs go...

I don't know about you guys, but personally I think that he would make a GREAT Guard Dog. Or would that be Guard Ant? :) No salesmen... peace and quiet. Well as long as you give him mayonnaise. Still...not that bad.

                                                                                        Carpe Diem and God Bless,

No Pain, No Gain

No pain, no gain. That's what the world tells us. But why? Well, everyone has pain. Think about it everyone has been touched with some kind of sickness, cancer, phenomena, diabetes, asthma, hypothermia, arthritis, a million other possibilities... and if it's not that it's car crashes, abuse, starvation, dehydration, etc. And those are only a few, there's lesser pains like falling off of a roof (or another great height), spraining your arm, wrist, or leg, there lots of other possibilities even down to stubbing your toe. There are even emotional possibilities like rejection, depression, heartbreak, etc.
 Even the Bible says this:

 "I said,
Lord, you know how I suffer.
Take thought of me and care for me.
Pay back for me those who have been persecuting me.
Do not be so patient with them that you allow them to kill me.
Be mindful of how I have put up with their insults for your sake.
As your words came to me I drank them in,
and they filled my heart with joy and happiness
because I belong to you.
I did not spend my time in the company of other people,
laughing and having a good time.
I stayed to myself because I felt obligated to you
and because I was filled with anger at what they had done.
Why must I continually suffer such painful anguish?
Why must I endure the sting of their insults like an incurable wound?
Will you let me down when I need you
like a brook one goes to for water, but that cannot be relied on?” (Jeremiah 15:15-18, NET Version)

 God replied like this:

Because of this, the Lord said,
“You must repent of such words and thoughts!
If you do, I will restore you to the privilege of serving me.
If you say what is worthwhile instead of what is worthless,
I will again allow you to be my spokesman.
They must become as you have been.
You must not become like them.
I will make you as strong as a wall to these people,
a fortified wall of bronze.
They will attack you,
but they will not be able to overcome you.
For I will be with you to rescue you and deliver you,”
says the Lord.
“I will deliver you from the power of the wicked.
I will free you from the clutches of violent people.” (Jeremiah 15:19-21, NET Version)

So you see if you don't face any trial and life is a breeze then you will never be a "fortified wall of bronze".

 Fear not though!!!
   God also said this:

"He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death will not exist any more – or mourning, or crying, or pain, for the former things have ceased to exist.” (Revelation 21:4, NET Version)

 WARNING!!!!!!
YOU WILL ONLY GET TO EXPERIENCE THIS IF YOU TRUELY IN YOUR HEART BELIEVE THAT JESUS CHRIST IS YOUR SAVIOR!

I AM GOING TO BE FRANKLY HONESY WITH YOU... IF YOU DON'T ACCEPT THAT, THEN YOUR GOING TO HELL NO MATER HOW MANY "GOOD" THINGS YOU'VE DONE ON EARTH. AND BELIEVE ME WHEN I SAY THERE IS A AFTERLIFE.

IF YOU THINK THAT THERE ISN'T ONE ASK YOURSELF THIS: "IF THERE IS NO AFTERLIFE THEN WHY DO WE CARE WHETHER WE ARE RICH OR POOR? WHY DO WE CARE ABOUT LIVING IN A NICE HOUSE IF WERE JUST GOING TO DIE AND GO NOWHERE? WHY? WHAT'S THE POINT OF LIFE THEN?

On that note I'll be leaving, but I sincerely hope you                                                         guys really think about this. Feel free to leave comments.
I'll be praying with all of my heart for each of you!
                                                                                                                Carpe Diem and
                                                                                                                         God Bless!!!

People have a weird habit of naming creatures with similar names...

Red-Tailed Hawk meet the Red-Shouldered Hawk

  The Red-tailed Hawk, ninnescahlife.Wichita.edu

 The Red-Shouldered Hawk, allaboutbirds.org

Being both beautiful birds that have certain similarities its no wonder that they have such similar names. You wouldn't normally think that they would look much different, in fact I don't think that I would know the difference if it wasn't for the tail feathers, however when placed next to each other they look completely different.

I encourage you to look at both of these fascinating creatures,

The elegant yet terrifiying Haast Eagle

Could you imagine running into one of these suckers? Man... now that would be a experience!
If you don't think that it's a GIANT now then check the photo below out!

The big brown bird is a Moa one of the islands of New Zealand's extinct flightless birds. Normally standing 2 to 3 meters high and averagely weighing 200 kilograms. In other words a REALLY, REALLY BIG BIRD!!!! and to think the Haast Eagle makes it look like a appetizer.

"Females were significantly larger than the males. Most estimates place the female Haast eagles in the range of 10–15 kg (22–33 lb) and males around 9–12 kg (20–26 lb).[ A comparison to living eagles of the Australasian region resulted in estimated masses in Haast eagles of 11.5 kg (25 lb) for males and 14 kg (31 lb) for females.[7] One source estimates that the largest females could have scaled more than 16.5 kg (36 lb) in mass.[8] However, even the largest extant eagles, none of which are verified to exceed 9 kg (20 lb) in a wild state, are about forty percent smaller in body size than Haast eagles." -Wikipedia.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haast%27s_eagle You can find the information above through this link, as well as the first photograph.
You can find the second photograph at: https://www.google.com/search?q=Moa's+size+vs.+ostrich&rlz=1T4ADFA_enUS488US489&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjTt4bL44fLAhXLrB4KHX75DzQQsAQIHA&biw=1301&bih=561#imgrc=OGl_S7bew80zMM%3A

Tragically the Haast Eagle became extinct around 1400 when the Maori hunted their main food sources, large flightless birds (including Moa), causing the Haast Eagle to become extinct.

I encourage you to read more about the Haast Eagle at Wikipedia. Even though it's extinct it's still a extravagant creature.

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas! I know it's about a week late but here's my holiday post!

        The Christmas Tree
First here is a back for Christmas that many people don't know. Originally it was a pagan holiday. Interesting? Definitely. In fact, if you ask anyone which "god" they were worshiping no can tell you. That's because it was lost in time and because Christ came and claimed His birthday.
Now back to the Christmas Tree
There is actually a great deal of confusion about why there is a Christmas Tree, but strange enough it was from the pagan holiday. Never would have guessed that in a million years. But when I was researching for a fun fact to share with you I came across it.

           Anyway Merry Christmas!
